iO Associates are partnered with one of the UK's largest Maritime and Defence companies, they are looking for a Software Developer to Join there team in Bristol.

In this role you will be working on the development of bespoke interfaces to external systems, data proxies and simulation systems that will be used to present high-quality live demonstrations to there customers.

The ideal person for this position will be expected to take ownership of projects - planning, developing, and presenting proof of concept solutions to customers. Essentially hit the ground running.

If you already hold DV clearance that would be ace, however if are able to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance and maintain it I would love to chat with you.

What they want too see from you:

  • Knowledge and experience in object-orientated software development.
  • A solid background of Microsoft C# .NET if you have a background in Python as well that would be advantageous
  • If you have worked on backend databases /PostgreSQL that would be a bonus.
  • Development of systems utilising technologies such as REST API's communicating in XML/JSON.
  • Networking computer systems and hardware experience.
  • Experience in working with simulated systems and remote systems.
  • Hands on experience configurating and customising of system hardware components using various interfaces.
