iO Associates are partnered exclusively with a growing Defence company based in North Bristol.

They've just won a £250million project and are will be working to deliver state of the art technology to the UK Armed Forces.

As it is a brand new project, it's a brand new team! With a couple of people on the ground in an overseas office, we are looking for multiple Software Engineers to start to build the team here in the UK.

There's plenty of career progression on offer as the team continues to grow over the next 12 months. Training opportunities are also offered in abundance, your manager will control the budget for certifications, courses etc. and you will be able to put this to use in a way that helps you achieve your professional goals.

From a technical perspective, the project offers you the opportunity to work with a variety of languages and tools.

We are ideally looking for people with experience in:

• Java
• JavaScript
• Microservices

There will also be elements of Go, K8s, Rust, Kotlin/Android, Python, Scala and Node.

As they are a defence company, applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance.
