Solution Architect - Remote Working - 6-Month Contract - £550 a day - Immediate Start

iO Associates are currently looking for a Solution Architect to join my client based in Edinburgh for an initial 6-month contract role offering up to £550 a day for an immediate start. There will be remote working but you will have to travel to the client's main offices based in Edinburgh when required. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services and 3-5+ years experience in designing large scale distributed systems, Microservices, API solutions and cloud technologies.

You must have experience with the following:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in architecting and designing large scale distributed systems
• Object Oriented Design principles and frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns
• Experience in microservices and API based software solutions
• Knowledge of Cloud and digital technologies
• Understanding of best practices regarding application security
• Understanding of DevOps practices
