Role: Solutions Architect
Salary: Negotiable - £70-80K+
Location: Oxford - currently remote working but back on site full time when possible.
A digital media company in Oxford are looking for a Solutions Architect to join their team. You must have experience as a Solution / Technical Architect or Senior Developer and have extensive commerical experience with eCommerce - developing mobile and websites - ASP. Net.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, the role will be based remotely but is ultimately based in Oxford and you must be within a commutable distance to the site. The expectation is that you will be in the office at least four days out of the week due to the collaborative nature of the role.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Mentoring a team of developers alongside a Project Manager.
- Provide technically robust solutions and interpreting project requirements in-line with company standards and procedures.
- Provide advice and make autonomous decisions - functioning as a cross-project consultant.
- Collaborate with key teams and participate in client workshops.
- Technical pre-sales and consultancy.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Previously worked as a Solution / Technical Architect or Senior Developer - at least four years.
- Demonstrate that you have led projects surrounding ASP .Net CMS and eCommerce websites in a technical environment
- Experience of defining and writing functional and technical specification on solutions of medium-large scale (£200K+)
- Organised, self-motivated and ambitious
- Able to competently lead a team of developers to create cutting-edge websites
- Organised, ambitious, self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical clients
