SQL Developer

Location: Bath or Newport (1 - 2 days a week in the office)

Salary and Benefits: £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus, UNLIMITED annual leave, flexible working, healthcare for you and family, pension contributions, allocated days for personal training and development, regular company/team events & more!

Are you an experienced Data Engineer / Database Developer looking for your next exciting challenge?

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of our established media clients. They have had huge success year on year and so are looking to rapidly expand the business to cope with the ever-increasing demand!

You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, data centric services for the group, providing technical mentorship to the team, leading by example both technically and behaviourally. Whilst leading best practice across the team including source control, clean code, standards, techniques & analysis

This company has a lot of projects coming up in January, including migration to GCP, integrations etc... You don't need to have any experience on similar projects but will be involved in them and have an opportunity to learn as they move forward with their change plans!

What they are looking for:

- Extensive experience with SQL and ETL, including building pipelines from on-premise environments

- Azure, AWS or GCP experience would be a great plus but can be trained

- Data migration experience is NOT needed at all but would be welcomed
