STRESS ENGINEER - TOOLS & METHODS
INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT
UP TO 60 - 65 EUROS / HOUR

They are now looking for a Stress Engineer with a strong background in Stress, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis to join the team. You will be involved in defining methodologies for RF determination of composite & metallic aircraft structures in terms of Static Strength, Stability, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance as well as developing the required tools to implement these methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in Stress, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis, with application to composite & metallic aircraft structures
- Excellent knowledge of analytical and numerical (FEM) Stress, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis methods following established standards
- Extensive working experience in the development of Tools & Methods in the form of spreadsheets, subroutines, scripts (TCL and Python) etc.
- Proven working experience with the commercial implicit FE code OptiStruct and corresponding pre- and post-processing tools (HyperMesh and HyperView) is a must
