iO Associates is currently partnered with a globally operating automotive client and a reliable partner to all renowned automotive manufacturers.

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced German-speaking Engineering Manager to steer their Systems and Simulation department towards success with a focus on mechatronic product design and simulation.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in leading and motivating interdisciplinary teams with regards to systems or simulation engineering
• Excellent understanding of mechatronic systems and computer science/simulation methods, ideally with one of more of the following:
  • Actuators; exhaust or brake systems, e-mobility
  • Door systems; window drives, sunblind systems
• Must be Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 12 professionals in the Systems and Simulation group.
• Drive the strategic and technical direction of the group, focusing on cutting-edge simulation technologies.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Engage in interdisciplinary cooperation with adjacent departments and external partners.
