Tech Lead

Tech Lead | UK/Remote | £75,000 - £83,000 | Hands-off | React

As a Tech Lead you will join a well renowned educational business who are a data provider underpinning university excellence in every continent across the world. They are a company behind the world's most influential university ranking, and with almost five decades of experience they have unparalleled expertise on the trends underpinning university performance globally.

This Tech Lead role is going to be predominately hands-off with a small percentage of coding being required, you will be leading two teams of in total 5 developers and reporting directly to the Head of Engineering. In this role you will be showcasing strong leadership skills aswell as the ability to collaborate across the business and further improve stakeholder management.

This is a fully remote role for UK based individuals that are keen to take that next step in their career.

Your typical responsibilities could include:

• Leading a small engineering team (total 3-6 engineers) working in cross functional squads

• Work closely with your product management counterpart to deliver leading class software solutions

• Contributing to the strategic thinking and architecture of engineering solutions

• Be hands on, we value thinking, communicating, as well as doing

• Work with multiple applications, both internal and user facing

• Understanding client requirements and how they translate to application features

Experience required:

Strong experience working with React.

A can do mentality and the ability to take on a variety of responsibility.

Leadership experience and the ability to showcase how you have led or supported others.
