Technical Consultant - Microsoft 365

Predominantly Remote Working / £65,000 to £75,000 / Permanent

An award winning tech company based in Reading is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant to join their productivity applications team! This is due to rapid growth and success over the last year.

As a Microsoft 365 Technical Consultant, your working time will be spent between working from home, their Reading HQ, and customer sites (predominantly in the South east but some nation wide also). Your responsibility will be consulting and delivering solutions built upon the Microsoft 365 cloud platform (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform).

This role will include:

• Arranging and conducting workshops, capturing customer requirements, and designing Office 365 solutions & architecture.
• Designing Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Overseeing Office 365 (M365/Microsoft 365) migrations.
• Training users via video conference and workshops.
• Building trust and long-term relationships with customers.
• Mentoring team members.

Essential skills & experience required:

• An understanding of key components of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Power Platform.
• Experienced in designing and leading solutions using Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Power Platform.
• Ability to provide business analysis consultancy to aid with solution design decisions and requirements capture.
• Experience of leading project teams in close collaboration with clients.
• Experience of taking overall accountability for client outcomes and direction.
