Job title: Technical Data Engineer

iO Associates are seeking for a Technical Data Engineer to work with one of the top businesses that create, produce, and provide customers with aerospace goods and services. They oversee the production of commercial aircraft, including helicopters, spacecraft, and defence systems.

Required:

  • Ensure the safety, maintainability, and compliance of Airbus aircraft in service by managing authoring activities for AMM and TSM on landing gears, delivering accurate technical data, and meeting ICA/EASA requirements.
  • Analyse design inputs, manage source data, and coordinate with design offices, subcontractors, and customers to produce, review, and update high-quality maintenance documentation on time, within cost, and to specification.
  • Provide timely support to operators by answering technical queries, resolving in-service issues (including AOG situations), and implementing documentation changes, while contributing to airlines' operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in technical data processes, tools, and ways of working, represent the department in transnational decision-making forums, and support Airbus digital initiatives and customer-focused service development.

Responsibilities:

  • Background in aerospace engineering or aircraft maintenance, with knowledge of maintenance practices, systems, production processes, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with international authoring standards, technical documentation tools, and industry procedures.
  • Strong organisational, follow-up, risk and opportunity management skills, combined with a proactive, dynamic, and positive mindset.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player, curious and open to change, with a focus on continuous improvement.
