Job Title: Design Technical Authority
Location: Warton, Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite)
Salary: up to £60,000
Note: You should be eligible for SC Clearance

iO Associates is looking for a Technical Authority with Experience in Electronics/Electrical Designing for a company that provides some of the world's most advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions and employ a skilled workforce of 85,800 people in more than 40 countries.

In this role you will be:

• Electronics Airborne's principal design signatory and their safe use thereafter
• Independent evaluations and reviews of airborne goods at different phases of their lifetime for customers in the military aerospace industry
• Giving the larger team guidance on technical procedures, laws, and methods
• Lead regional and supplier design reviews and offer support for design reviews on behalf of the larger company.
• Have the capacity to collaborate and support design and lead engineers to develop products and integrated solutions while being able to operate successfully on your own.

Skills and Experience needed:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or completed HNC
• Chartered/fellowship status (or working towards)
• Served a recognised apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline or have demonstrable experience operating in an Electronic / Electrical field (Aerospace desirable)
• Design Engineering experience in an engineering environment
• Knowledge in one or more of the engineering disciplines (e.g. hardware, software, firmware or systems development)
