iO Associates are working with an international technology company who operate in the areas of aerospace, aviation, security and defence.

This company is technology-driven and they pride themselves on their innovative, collaborative culture. They have a brand-new opportunity for a Technical Network Engineer to join their growing team.

Role: Technical Network Engineer

Location: North Bristol

Salary: £50,000 + benefits

*Due to security requirements for this role, applicants must be eligible for SC clearance*

This is a highly technical networking opportunity which will involve working predominantly with Cisco and Linux.

The Hiring Manager is looking for someone who is ambitious and passionate about technology - you will be trained in Docker and Kubernetes.

The majority of this role will be based in the lab rooms in Bristol, working on a variety of projects. The role will require some fully expensed travel in the UK to showrooms to showcase market-leading systems and solutions. This will give you the opportunity to liaise directly with clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Network configuration
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Research and identification of solutions to project issues
  • Liaise with clients to ensure that systems are fully functional after troubleshooting

This is a highly technical, challenging role with fantastic facilities and support for training and development. You will join an ambitious, collaborative, innovative team.
