Telematics Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Software (Telematics)

A client based on a prestigious technology park in Nuneaton are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer to join on a permanent basis.

You would be leading the software development for the business' telematic product line, responsible for software for telematics applications such as fleet management, safety and security, vehicle diagnostics etc…

Responsibilities:

• Developing middleware in C/C++
• Design, develop and troubleshoot telecommunications platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define/refine requirements for feature development.
• Planning of new products and major improvements to existing products, including providing input to new feature development, CI and defect fixes.

Key skills & experience:

• 4+ years of industry level embedded software development experience in C
• Experience with IoT (WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM, Satellite, Radio) and/or telematics technology.
• Real time operating systems RTOS
