Our Client, a leading organisation in the service management industry, is looking for a Transition Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transition of service management operations and drive service management maturity improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from an incumbent supplier to a new service provider while enhancing service delivery practices aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire life-cycle of the Service Management Transition and Service Maturity Improvement program.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Transition Management Plans covering governance, scope, schedules, and risk management.
  • Oversee the smooth transfer of responsibilities, systems, and processes from the incumbent supplier to the new provider.
  • Conduct a detailed assessment of the organisation's current service management maturity and implement improvement strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and communicate progress effectively.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in project leadership and delivery within service management.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess risks, manage issues, and drive change effectively.
  • Experience in resource and financial management within project budgets.


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Certification in ITIL or related service management frameworks.
  • Experience in service transition management and service level agreement management.
  • Knowledge of continual service improvement practices.
  • Previous experience in the service management industry.
