iO Associates have partnered with a Pharmaceutical company based in Bristol who are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the team.
My client works in colloboration with the NHS and is set up to support people with their medication requirements and due to growth they are relocating to a larger site in North Bristol.
As the Operations Manager you will be driving excellence across the business. The team is made up of 31 people with 4 team leaders that would report directly into you. It's mainly a warehouse operation adhering to GMP standards, so this would suit someone with experience in manufacturing, ideally pharmaceuticals or FMCG
You will be in charge of the budgets and planning as well as establishing, implementing and monitoring high standards of excellence in the areas of safety, quality, finance and operations, setting up clear KPIs and holding your team to account.
A big part of your role will be people management and you will play a major part in establishing a clear sense of purpose and direction within the whole team.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Extensive experience in warehousing and/or manufacturing - Ideally Pharma
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Communications Skills (Written and verbal)
- Ability to influence others and build strong relationships with customers and clients.
In return you will receive a salary between £40,000-£45,000 along with company pension, 32 days holiday.
