We're seeking a highly experienced and connected Technical Account Manager to significantly expand our partnership with Rheinmetall (RME), our primary Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) in Germany.

This isn't just a sales role; it's about strategic partnership. You will be the linchpin between our client and Rheinmetall, ensuring our advanced simulation products, solutions, and services are seamlessly integrated into their bids, proposals, and project deliverables for federal clients. Your expertise will directly enhance Rheinmetall's ability to win and successfully execute critical government contracts.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture deep relationships with key decision-makers, program managers, and procurement teams within Rheinmetall, KNDS and other clients.
  • Collaborative Bid & Proposal Development: Work hand-in-hand with Rheinmetall's program and capture teams to author compelling proposals that showcase the measurable value our client brings to their federal client contracts.
  • Opportunity Identification & Closure: Proactively identify, develop, and close significant business opportunities within key Rheinmetall programs, driving mutual revenue growth.
  • Solution Alignment: Become the expert in aligning our clients innovative solutions with the evolving needs of Rheinmetall and their federal clients, ensuring compliance with German government requirements (Bundeswehr/BMVg).
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of the curve on FSI priorities, federal contract awards, and government requirements to position for maximum impact.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with our internal technical teams to deliver impactful demonstrations, tailored proposals, and proofs of concept that empower Rheinmetall's customer engagement.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

What You'll Bring:

  • Deep FSI Expertise: A strong, existing understanding of and established relationships within the German Federal Systems Integrator landscape, with a particular emphasis on Rheinmetall.
  • Proven Federal Sales Success: Over 10 years of experience in systems integration, with at least 6 years specifically in federal or defense projects, demonstrating a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals in the government contracting environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working directly in the simulation/training and/or mission planning and rehearsal industry.
  • German Defense Procurement Savvy: Strong familiarity with German government (Bundeswehr/BMVg) budgets, investments, and acquisition processes.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, developing compelling proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and conducting complex negotiations.
  • Proposal Writing Prowess: Excellent skills in developing winning proposals and narratives.
  • Networking & Access: Demonstrated access to key government customers and industry partners within Germany.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with federal technology solutions, cloud services, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • German Native
  • German Clearance: Ability to obtain or possess a German BMVg clearance.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically within Germany and internationally.
