iO Associates are working with a tech consultancy that has released new contract opportunities for 2021. A major project is about to get underway for which they are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead with a technical background, who can competently lead the software delivery.

You will be working on a long-term contract, outside IR35 and offering remote working with occasional travel to Manchester, Covid restrictions permitting. This is a great opportunity to secure a role for the new year that will see you until at least the Summer. You will be surrounded by technical experts in their field, and experience with Java or C# is preferred.

Requirements:

• Delivery Manager role in a commercial setting
• Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
• Technical background (Java/C#)
• Proven experience on enterprise-level projects
• Delivery driven on software projects
• High-level stakeholder management
• Full software development lifecycle

Ideally, you'll be someone who thinks and challenges ideas, rather than an order taker, and you'll see where processes and projects can be improved. This is the opportunity to work on some enterprise-level projects so it will be a challenging and interesting role to get stuck into.
