Job Description:

iO Associates is currently partnered with an innovative aerospace start-up company in Munich that is currently seeking an Avionics Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to join their team.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in aeronautical or electrical engineering, or equivalent professional experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience with aircraft avionics system integration and certification as per EASA CS23/CS25
• Knowledge of aircraft DC electrical system, avionics system design and certification
• Knowledge of EMI, software and airborne electronic hardware development and certification processes
• Knowledge of EASA Certification process as well as Certification Requirements applicable to the avionics system
• Good knowledge of the English language (B2 level or above)

Responsibilities:

• Perform Compliance Verification for ATA028 (Software Aspects), ATA038 (EMI), ATA24 (Electrical System), ATA23 (Communication), ATA34 (Navigation System), ATA31 (Indication and Recording System) against related certification requirements
• Guide a supplier for development of a dual channel DAL B LRU from aircraft OEM side. Participate in HW and SW SOI reviews.
• Prepare and conduct aircraft level development and certification tests
• Perform drawing checks of mechanical and electrical wiring drawings
