Your Day to Day Tasks

Your area of responsibility will be to support new devices, subsystems and system components with a multitude of functions, interfaces and requirements

The focus is the creation of specifications for devices in the flight control and engine control systems.
You will define requirements for (sub) systems and devices, coordinate these with the responsible bodies and, if necessary, have changes made.
You can have specifications drawn up and checked for completeness and correctness.
You take responsibility for device architecture and concepts and be the technical go-to for internal and external stakeholders.

You will create internal and external interface definitions and ensure their correct definition.

Be the responsible engineer for questions about the admissibility of the product and initiate the necessary analysis as well as the creation of the documentation.

Your Backgrond
Ideally, you will be an engineer specialising in control engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, communications engineering, physics, systems engineering or aerospace engineering or have a comparable experience.
Professional experience in (aircraft) device development with safety-critical applications as well as experience in defining devices specifications for safety-critical, complex avionics systems from concept through to completion.

First hand experience with safety and reliability analysis as well as with ARP4754A, DO-254, DO-160 and DO-178 standards will be a distinct advantage.

English skills are mandatory, German or any other language skills considered beneficial.
