Business Operations Director

Role: Operations & Delivery Lead

Location: Farnborough - 3 days per week

Salary: Up to £110k

Are you a talented Ops leader that is looking for a new role? Are you someone that loves not operational management but also oversight and driving success in delivery?

We're working with a UK SME in the Defence & Security space that is looking to hire an Operations Lead to join their growing team in Farnborough.

Whilst the role does not require a previous background in the defence sector, a knowledge of project delivery and multifaceted teams is highly beneficial.

You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and work across the business to drive strategic initiatives and improve current business processes and procedures to increase productivity and delivery excellence.

This will be a both an internal and externally facing role for the business. Whilst responsible for engaging senior stakeholders internally through operational updates, the role will also play a role in client-facing operational delivery.

This is very much an operational leadership position rather than a manufacturing and production operations role. A candidate with experience of managing the day-to-day operations, wearing a number of hats and a natural problem solver will thrive in this role!
