iO Associates have partnered up with one of largest and most successful clients to offer the chance for a continuous improvement manager to bolster their already successful Bridgwater site. They are the worlds leading manufacturer in their field and are deeply passionate about what they do. You'll be working on the continuous improvement strategy via lean six sigma methods for their site. A site which has been granted several million pounds to help them improve over the next few years.

You will be reporting into the plant general manager, and you will be largely looking at where you can improve production efficiency and the site performance. You'll also be recommending continuous improvement initiatives after evaluating operational and financial data.

A big part of the role will be centred around creating a continuous improvement culture at the site utilising an array of methods to improve the site OOE performance. Leadership is a key aspect, and you will be project managing continuous improvement projects by coordinating resources and monitoring progress and cost until the project is complete.

You will have multiple CI projects in process at any one time, at different stages in the project lifecycle and you will need to work with the site teams making sure all follow a standard project management approach.

What they'll be looking for in you

  • Experience leading continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Delivering multiple continuous improvement projects within an FMCG environment.
  • You will have qualifications in Lean Six Sigma, black or green belt.
  • The ability to train and coach all your colleagues in the CI agenda with the aim of driving up the OEE performance on the site.
  • The ability to analyse the data, drill down and identify key actions.

In return you will receive a salary of between £50K - £60K Dependant on your experience. As well as other benefits, performance bonus, private healthcare.
