iO Associates are currently seeking a Digital Test Design Engineer for an initial 6-month contract in Stevenage which is likely to extend as part of a new programme of long-term work.

The role will be centred on capturing design information, discuss and agree procedures for testing at all stages of assembly and ensure all work is sufficiently defined to allow accurate cost and scheduling data to be generated.

Ideally the client is looking for a background within the Space/Aerospace sector, however, will consider applicants who have experience working on high tech solutions within an automotive or safety critical industry.

Key skills required:

• Software design and debug
• Experience in scripting languages
• Software/hardware integration and debug
• RF test and measurement experience
• Automatic test procedure generation
