New and exciting opportunity here for a highly motivated Estimator to join an industry leading business serving Defence markets on some of the most innovative projects around!

Nature & scope

Based on the call for tenders and in collaboration with the Proposals Engineer, he/she establishes the price calculations upstream of the project by determining for each position, the equipment costs, material resources and personnel to arrive at the price. final .

He/she is also involved in the implementation phase for adjustments or additional work, in collaboration with the Proposals Engineer, the sales manager or the customer support manager.

Main responsibilities
o You analyze the specifications, specifications, documentation and consult the various stakeholders
o You analyze the data collected and propose improvement solutions to reduce costs
o You calculate the costs, prices and corresponding margins and assist the Proposals Engineer in the drafting and validation of price offers
o You determine price standards and establish a reference database (raw material costs, equipment costs, production times, duration and cost of labor, tools, etc.)
o You rely on old costings, supplier documents, purchase orders, program monitoring reports, the reference database, specifications, charges communicated by the various departments

Profile
o Technical training, minimum bachelor's
o Significant experience of at least 3 years in at least one of the fields below:

o Industrial field
o Technical field (drawing, production)
o Estimates & costings o Purchasing exp. is a plus
o French & English language

=> Minimum 3 days of face-to-face per week

=> The NDA document must be completed
