Fitter

iO Associates is looking for a Fitter to work with a company that has a strong position in the markets for artificial lift, specialized chemicals, and completions, and which is a world leader in oilfield services and equipment.

You will be Providing support for the assembly and testing of subsea equipment to ensure quality and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Location: Aberdeenshire

Job type: 6 Months, Contract

Pay Rate - Up to £18 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling subsea equipment and components according to specifications and drawings to meet customer requirements.
• Setting up finished assemblies/products and conducting tests in accordance with routing and engineering procedures.
• Disassembling and inspecting subsea equipment (XT, CWOR, tooling) and wellhead tooling.

Advantageous but Not Essential:

• Experience in servicing, testing, and maintaining intervention/workover control systems (IWOCS) equipment, such as hydraulic power units, control panel units, and umbilical reelers.
• Ability to operate IWOCS systems to assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) operations onsite.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in IWOCS, with the ability to work independently.
