Group Category Manager

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a background of working internationally and with high tech companies? If yes, then this role could be for you.

An opportunity has arisen for someone to join the electronic & electrical procurement and Supply Chain team with a world leader in the defence industry.

You will be working the ensure the effective category management within the electrical domain with a team that operates in a changing environment managing and implementing both mature and new technologies.

In this dynamic role you will manage an international team undertaking strategy development, competitions, contract management, Supplier relation management with the purpose of supporting innovation and to ensure supply chain performance (on Time, on Cost, on Quality).

Ideally you will have already demonstrated your ability to develop and implement category strategy in a sensitive environment, be able to influence people cross functionally and at all levels, developing strategies with your team and you will have a good understanding of electronic and electrical technologies of the suppliers market.

In return you will receive a salary of £50,000-£60,000 as well as;
