Lab Technician (m/f/d)

Location: Aachen, NRW.
Salary Range: 45.000€-50.000€ per annum depending on experience.
VSOP: 10.000$ of virtual shares in FibreCoat.
Contract: Permanent. Full-time.

iO Associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a fast-growing scale-up revolutionising high-performance materials. FibreCoat are seeking a Lab Technician (m/f/d) to play a hands-on role in testing advanced materials, supporting industrial innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in our R&D lab to analyse experimental special purpose materials. Designing and executing lab testing, making observations and interpreting findings.
Preparing materials samples for analysis.
Utilising various analysis techniques to assess properties such as tensile strength, electrical resistance, shielding capabilities, organic content.
Recording all data accurately and in a standardised manner.
Maintaining equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
Ensuring all safety guidelines are followed strictly and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Key Qualifications:

Experience as a Lab Technician or in similar positions.
Experience operating electrical and mechanical lab equipment.
Experience working with hazardous chemicals and materials.
Technical or academic background in materials science or chemistry.
