My client is globally recognised FMCG business with multiple sites across the UK and they are in several countries worldwide. In the UK they supply private and branded label products for all the leading retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's, Sainsburys, ALDI and Lidl.
My client is looking for an Operations Manager to join the Plant Leadership Team in Kegworth.
You will be reporting to the Plant General Manager and will be responsible for leading the operations/manufacturing departments consisting of around 180 employees. You will have Area managers reporting into you to ensure the teams are performing to a standard that meets OEE, yield targets and the KPIs in respect to quality, cost, safety and people performance.
Your experience in a fast paced environment, ideally food or drink manufacturing will mean you can hit the ground running and really add value from the start. You will be experienced at implementing CI initiatives and through your effective communication and influence you will ensure the CI culture is embedded across the site.
Factoring in demand and cost per unit, you will ensure staffing levels are fit for purpose and the site OEE is optimised through regular reviews with planning and forecasting departments, not being afraid the challenge the plans when necessary.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 5.00pm & Friday: 8.30am - 4.00pm.The salary is up to £56,900 DOE and they offer a benefits package that includes;
