The opportunity:

We are looking for a Warfare Development Manager to join our team at the Maritime Composite Training System (MCTS) at HMS Collingwood (Fareham, Hants). This new, developing role will see you working within an established team to use data and intelligence to assist in defining future training solution needs, and broader transitional management activities as requirements for future training delivery & support needs are defined.

What will you be doing:

As Warfare Development Manager you will be:

  •        Contributing directly into the ESUK effort within Team Fisher to define and integrate the future synthetic training solution for the Royal Navy

  •        Accountable for monitoring and reviewing the currently contracted Training Delivery service; current team working practices; and assisting in the definition of future training delivery and support solutions.

  •        Contributing to future Synthetic Training Operator (STO) recruitment drives in support of the Synthetic Training Manager (STM) and his deputy.

  •        Supporting the sustainment and improvement of current training deliverables, and the development and integration of future training solutions.

  •        Playing an active part in the development and integration of ESUK-led culture into present and future customer focused deliverables.

Skills for success:

  •        Strong experience within Royal Navy maritime warfare training environment and practical warfare training facilitation & management.

  •        Analytical individual, able to define solutions.

  •        Flexible, open minded and innovative Team Player able to communicate well at all levels.

  •        Team Player/Self-starter.
