Mechanical Design Engineer - Oxfordshire

Located in the UK's most exciting hub for start-ups and breakthrough technology, this manufacturer of scientific instruments is looking to strengthen their design & development department with the addition of an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

With their in-house manufacturing capabilities, you will be working on the full product life cycle of products, from concept to production, including building and testing prototypes. The testing phase will be heavily focused around thermal analysis as this is a fundamental part of the products performance.

As well as producing the next generation of high-tech scientific products, you will also help maintain and improve their existing portfolio. With this comes the usual admin tasks such as Bill Of Materials and design documentation, but the role will mostly be product based.

Available for an immediate start, this position is offering a salary up to £40,000 Per Annum, as well as 5% contributory pension, company profit share bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave (+bank holidays) and flexible working.
