Mechanical Design Engineer

Bristol

Up to £45,000 Per Annum

A new position has become available with an industrial Manufacturing company in Bristol as they start their search for their next Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing company.

In this role, you will have responsibility for the whole mechanical engineering function across the UK and Europe, as well as interacting with their USA office and manufacturing facility in China.

Your task will be to manage and support the product development of the company's bespoke industrial machinery while complying with the industry's ISO standards and assisting with the quality function within the business including carrying out audits.

The products themselves can vary between steam and hot water systems to thermal fluid heaters and custom engineered systems, this company has a product for virtually any industrial or commercial heating application.

Requirements:

• 2D & 3D CAD Design (Client uses Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD)
• 3+ years' experience in a Manufacturing environment
• FMEA experience
• Knowledge of electrical, thermal or pressure systems (advantageous)
