Mechanical Engineer - Portsmouth - £40k-£55k

I am working with a marine technology company based down in Portsmouth in their latest drive to hire an additional two Mechanical Engineers due to increasing workloads and more demanding projects.

This company are a bespoke solutions provider for clients operating within the heavy industries such as Marine, Oil & Gas and Subsea.

The team has grown extensively, particularly in this past year, and are looking to continue this aggressive recruitment drive throughout this year.

Siemens NX experience is preferable although other 3D CAD software experience will still be considered, and necessary training provided. However, it is essential that you will be able to work autonomously on projects to complete the full product lifecycle development, concept through to production, including preforming FEA and hand calculations.

Another desirable requirement is to have knowledge on hydraulic systems, valves, and manifolds as this is becoming an increasingly in-demand skill to complete customer's projects to the best standard.
