Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer

Oxford

£45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum

I am working with an exciting start-up near Oxford who are developing high performance electro-mechanical products and advanced testing equipment to create a completely renewable future!

This team of 7 already have a steady order book thanks to the success of their highly sought-after, break-through product which is already at the request of FTSE 250 companies. After just 4 years of trading, they are a profitable business and are aiming to go through another round of funding in the next couple of years.

They are now seeking a Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer who is hands-on but can also develop how they are going to scale and grow the manufacturing capability, they currently have production cells that can produce 2 units daily but the demand is far outweighing that. Every trade show is resulting in more orders!

This role would ideally suit a Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer who has taken products into manufacture (NPI) and has previous electro-mechanical products / tooling experience.

The position will be based out of their office near Oxford, with free parking on-site and useful amenities nearby such as corner shop and pub. There will be the possibility of some ad-hoc remote working, but mostly office based so they can collaborate effectively, therefore candidates must be local to the area. No VISA sponsorship is available.

In return, my client is offering a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum (dependant on experience) as well as 25 days annual leave (including Christmas shutdown), up to 6% contribution to pension scheme, Friday BBQs in the summer months & team lunches plus continuous training and professional development opportunities.

If this sounds like the type of role for you have been seeking and would like to find out more about this brilliant opportunity, then please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
