Role: Technical Programme Manager

Location: Cheltenham / Flexibility to work from home

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus work from home, flexi-hours, private pension/medical and much more

We are supporting an established, award-winning healthcare company based in Cheltenham that are on the search for a highly experienced delivery focussed Programme Manager to join them

You will be responsible for the project delivery team, this a team based of technical resources and project managers, you will have full line management responsibility for the whole team and also review technical designs and processes. This role will be part of the senior management for the Business Systems team and will play a key role with key projects and will work closely with service delivery teams and also enterprise architecture team.

This is very much a role for a team player who is able to balance internal & external relationships as well as deliver critical programmes on time and to appropriate quality. You will need to be able to balance a number of plates and take leadership and management of a multi-disciplined programme team.

The role will have key responsibility for projects that are already in flight but also new projects that the business require, you will need to have good knowledge of cloud-based services and the use of SaaS, IaaS, also have had experience of managing a large dispersed based infrastructure

They are looking for:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Fortinet, Remote support tools, switching, messaging
  • Technical project experience of delivering IT and commercially complex projects involving network innovation and Operational IT
  • Business Focus, developing and achieving strategic business plans objectives;
  • Detailed infrastructure knowledge of Dell servers and their architecture
  • Familiarity with contracts and finances associated with large projects;
  • Management of a dispersed network and server estate (over 170+ sites)
