Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of efficient end-of-line test infrastructure (software and hardware).
  • Development and maintenance of automated software and hardware integration tests for the Technologies (R&D) department.
  • Responsibility for the software build process and regression tests.
  • Enhancement of the continuous integration chain using Jenkins and the MATLAB-based testing framework.
  • Integration of unit tests written by developers into the testing framework.
  • Maintenance of the virtual machine (Microsoft Hyper-V) environment and the corresponding ethernet network using VLAN technology.
  • Development and execution of benchmark tests to verify deterministic behavior, I/O latencies, data throughput, and processing performance.
  • Serve as internal expert for testing-related matters.



Qualification Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of experience as low-level software developer, FPGA developer, system- or test engineer
  • Experience with software testing environments and scripting languages
  • Experience with C/C++, MATLAB and ideally Simulink
  • Passion to essure quality and consistency
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently and drive projects.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
