Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The company specialise in DNA Sequencing technology, which provides real time information that has enormous applications within cancer research, microbiology and reproductive health. Due to the successful scaling of their new product, they've just raised £85M to support the ramp of R&D required - this takes their overall funding to £614M!

The role is every mechanical engineers dream. Your workshop will include mill, late, 3D printers, dispenser robots and CO2 laser cutters and your development lab includes instrumentation for imaging, sensing, data logging and running automation systems.

The role itself will see you create innovative concepts to address the technical needs of new products. You'll create innovative concepts, conduct design feasibility studies and design and develop new product concepts.

Skills Required:

• New product technical development
• Experience in prototyping and rapid manufacturing technologies
• Experience working in a regulated environment
