If you're into your sci-fi films like I am, then I'm sure you will have watched in awe as autonomous robots performed surgery on our very own Anakin Skywalker in the third Star Wars film after some serious burns. This all seemed a lifetime away in terms of the realms of possibility, but actually, we're not that far off.

The healthcare industry is betting on those potentials as well, with the global medical robot expenditures expected to rise by about 20% by 2025 to reach £18 billion!

This position I am recruiting for is with a Global company transforming technology with their medical instruments and advanced manufacturing, aiming to greatly improves peoples' lives. Their mission is to create high performing, boundary pushing sub-systems and components which range from surgical robotics to 3D Metal printing.

The work you will be undertaking will be to design high precision electro-mechanical and/or opto-mechanical equipment. The projects will require you to complete the full product development lifecycle including new product design, hands-on assembly, testing and validation.

You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team, which embraces the company culture of all working together to develop ground-breaking technology, as some of your tasks will be working with electronic PCBs and integrating them into the designs.

My client is offering a competitive salary ranging from £55k-£65k as well as enrolment to their pension scheme, health insurance and great opportunities for you to progress your career.
