iO Associates have partnered with a rapidly growing lighting manufacturer, in assisting with their recruitment of a Product Design Engineer at a Senior level.

This company have gone from strength to strength over the last 5 years, expanding across multiple departments, with no intention of slowing down in their plans to introduce new products worldwide!

You, the Product Design Engineer, will work amongst and be supported by a team of 6 dedicated designers in the hands-on design, development and testing of specialist lighting products.

If you're looking to brighten up your workload and spark a new career within LED design, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in 3D CAD development and understanding of manufacturing processes (especially metals), as well as a solid understanding of the whole design process for LED lighting.

Day to day, you will be involved in:

Producing CAD models, Technical drawings, Design Reviews and Design guidance to add to growing portfolio of LED Lights
Liaise with Manufacturing and NP Development to define materials, and suggest improvements to company processes and procedures.
