Are you ready to contribute to the future of eco-friendly travel? My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in Battery cells. You will be joining an innovative project that is poised to transform cross-country travel with a focus on environmental sustainability and advanced technology.

You will be working with the Program Management team which reports to the VP Project Management and is responsible for the successful delivery of their aircraft programs. You will be responsible for the implementation of program governance at the IPT level including efficient project delivery in line with defined objectives and priorities, schedule development and adherence, impediment removal, risk management, and resource demand/allocation.

Skills Required:

• Proven Project Management skills with a minimum of 5-8 years of Project Management experience, ideally within a complex aerospace environment. Strong preference for candidates who have participated in at least one aircraft development program.
• Practical experience in a range of Project Management methodologies including predictive Project Management (eg waterfall) and Agile Methodologies (eg SAFE, SCRUM).
• Excellent understanding of all Project Management fundamentals including scheduling, risk management, estimation, project communications, and budget and resource management.
• Knowledge of battery cell projects

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for evaluating Project / Program impacts and communicating these with clear recommendations to the IPTL and Program. Deputise for the IPTL
• Manage the Program Iteration process on behalf of the IPTL to establish, align and record Project Objectives for the IPT scope across the entire development cycle
• Ensure Project Objectives are translated into achievable Sprint Deliverables for the Iteration. Manage these via the Project Managers and Scrum Masters and drumbeat their delivery.
• Deploy the Program Governance model within the project team and lead the team through the processes.
• Support the IPTL with cross-functional alignment eg to Procurement, Supply Chain Ops, Manufacturing, testing and suppliers
