Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Accountant
Up to £75,000 per annum
London, UK

Finitas have partnered with a leading insurance company. They are seeking immediate assistance with the preparation of statutory and regulatory returns for UK insurance entities.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in UK Companies Act, UK GAAP, and IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP preferred.
  • Expertise in insurance technical accounting and reporting.
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA/CMA accountant with insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory and regulatory returns, including financial statements, and other regulatory submissions.
  • Respond to data requests from internal and external stakeholders and address auditor queries.
  • Ensure timely and error-free submission of returns.
  • Prepare capital forecasts and liquidity analyses for legal entities and Trust Funds.
  • Create detailed working papers, validate data, and update regulatory reporting methodologies.
  • Communicate results and key assumptions to line managers.
