Technical Lead

Role: Technical Lead

Salary: Up to £75,000 (DOE)

Location: Nottingham, 1-2 days a week on-site

Established just four years ago, we are partnered with a fast-growing SaaS company proviing a leading communication platform to enterprise-level clients. With rising demand for their innovative product, they are looking to expand their technical team. We need a dynamic Technical Lead to strategize, outline, and deliver both current and future product roadmaps, as well as scale the technical department effectively.

With a high-performing product built and deployed, as a Technical Lead you'll have the opportunity to look at the bigger picture, identify areas for improvement, scalability, and fine-tuning. As funding is being secured within the next 6 months you will be expected to shape the team in hiring and being a driving force with their scaling plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team in planning and executing product roadmaps
• Identify and implement improvements for product scalability and performance
• Oversee the development process and ensure the team meets deadlines
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive product development and deployment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Laravel development
• Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, etc.)
• Proven AWS expertise (preferably with EC2, RDS, ELB, IAM, Elastic Beanstalk)
• Strong understanding and implementation of testing principles (TDD, DDD, etc.)
• Management experience is a plus
• Must be based in or commutable to Nottingham
