Assistant Syndicate Accountant

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 pa
Location: London

Finitas are working with this leading London Market Insurer in their search for an Assistant Syndicate Accountant to join the team.

You will collaborate with the team to produce, maintain, reconcile, and analyze the accounting ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in producing and maintaining accounting ledgers for three Lloyd's syndicates, the managing agent, and corporate member through month, quarter, and year-end closes.
• Ensure timely completion of internal deadlines for group financial reporting and address queries promptly.
• Prepare and resolve balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant
• Insurance Accounting background; previous experience in Lloyd's market
• Reporting experience, including year-end audits
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with large volume data
