iO Associates have partnered with one of the South West most established and profitable development companies in their recruitment of a number of positions across the electrical spectrum.

This role is for a Senior Development Engineer and the individual will be responsible for the design and development of modules/sub-assemblies and product commercialisation project. You will also be responsible for leading DFMEA & HAZOP studies and risk analysis techniques in order to ensure best practice throughout the design process.

The company work extensively in high volume production with a global client base specialising in semi-conductor manufacturing. The company effectively make large vacuum systems that ensure no specs of dust or harmful gasses are present during the high volume manufacture of silicon based products.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in the following areas:

• Electrically biased engineering degree (or equivalent)
• A high level of 3D and 2D CAD skills (CATIA, Visio, AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools)
• An understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and system schematics
